@BeLiKeDime The whole idea that you HAVE to jump to get a contest is so dumb. 2k forcing a hand down when a shooter is shooting just so offensive players ALWAYS succeed is what ruins 2k. Not giving defenders a chance is a shame

This is one thing I never understood - why does it drop the raised hand to contest with the other? This animation almost always renders the shooter “Open”.
I’m not a defense guy, so I don’t know if this is just the wrong way to play d and contest or what…but it just doesn’t make sense to me. (This is the AI contesting me, but we all know this happens to us as well).
