@JeremyVineOn5 @_NatashaDevon The only way heat pumps will work is to insulate your home … my home needs outside wall insulation . Due to solid walls .which will cost minimum £10,000 heat pump,£5,000 to £10,000 , solar panels £5,000 to £8,000 . Who can possibly afford all this ??

@JeremyVineOn5 Thanks for the heads up … the usual misinformation been spewed out … the technology is there … all we need is more off shore wind farms they can be installed more quickly than the 15 years it takes for nuclear power station to come on line and costs billions less to construct

@JeremyVineOn5 I wish the government would invest in green energy polices and begin construction of mega pack lithium ion battery packs which can store excess wind and solar. The technology is available Now … Hawaii invested in solar and storage cut there need of oil being shipped in .

@tiredhorizon @JeremyVineOn5 Yes these technologies have fantastic potential… but they need investment to get to market… the mega packs have been installed in Australia and Hawaii and California and are working now … this is tech which we could install now … that’s the important bit .
