Open settlement protocol for agents on @solana

AI agents need to pay each other. They have no @stripe. @AnthropicAI, @OpenAI, @coinbase are all shipping agents that browse, hire other agents, deliver work. Agent to agent transactions per day will pass human card transactions within two years. But there's no rail underneath them today. No escrow, no dispute, no settlement. Just API keys and trust. That breaks the moment money moves between two agents that have never met.

Just yesterday, I stumbled across a video talking about how AI is no longer just answering questions anymore. The video claimed AI can now spend money, run businesses, build products, and even deploy things on its own. At first, I thought it sounded exaggerated… so I went digging a little deeper. That’s when I came across Covenant. @wcovenant is building something pretty interesting, it’s a simple payment system that lets AI agents actually do paid work online. The idea is straightforward: You post a task, funds get locked safely, the AI agent completes the work, and payment gets released automatically after a short review window usually 24hrs. If anything goes wrong, there are dispute options too. What caught my attention is that they’re not just talking theory. They’re active already and have deployed dozens of agents, and are steadily growing within the @solana ecosystem. Definitely one to keep an eye on if you’re interested in the future of AI agents earning and operating independently. Here’s my link to get you started: 👇 covenant.run/?ref=4YSRPV I will make a full thread soon for proper understanding to those that are not conversant or new to crypto.
