Many people don't know what happened after this picture was taken.
We uncovered an unpublished newspaper blurb about the events that occurred right after this picture. Glad we can share this previously untold story...
In the blink of an eye, the atmosphere shifted from tense anticipation to electrifying action. Tom Osborne, the legendary Nebraska football coach, knew he had to act fast. As the Colorado buffalo charged, its hooves pounding the earth like war drums, Osborne took a deep breath and clenched his fists.
With a swift, calculated move, he sidestepped the bull's initial charge, grabbing its horns as it passed. The crowd gasped, and the Nebraska football team behind him roared in awe and encouragement. Using his years of experience and innate understanding of leverage, Osborne wrestled the massive creature to the ground, his eyes locked onto its bewildered gaze.
But the bull was not done yet. It thrashed and bucked, attempting to break free. Osborne tightened his grip and, with a burst of adrenaline, delivered a series of jabs to the bull's face. Each punch was a statement, a testament to his unyielding spirit.
Finally, gathering all his strength, Osborne unleashed a devastating right hook. The bull's eyes widened, and then it lay still, subdued but unharmed. The crowd erupted into cheers, and his team rushed to him, lifting him onto their shoulders.
In that moment, Tom Osborne was not just a coach but a legend, solidifying his place in the annals of Nebraska folklore.

The US sends soldiers overseas to unwittingly commit genocide & then leaves them to live w/ their demons until the guilt & trauma forces them to take their own life to find peace. This is ur future if u sign up to join the empire.

Could I share something with y’all? Today is Riv’s b-day. Amber and I don’t count the years. We’ll always know him as being three. That was the last birthday we shared with him.
You know—losing him just about killed me. On that grief journey, I left NO stone unturned to heal myself, but nothing helped until…everything changed. These last four years have been the wildest ride of my life, and yet I’ve mostly kept it to myself until now. I want you to know the whole story (at times as unbelievable as it is). I want the information that I learned to be available to anyone that is hurting. I’ve written this intimate story in the best form of media that I know how: a book. It’s called “Like a River.” Will you read it? Will you send this to a friend that needs it? I really hope you do.
.
Like a River is available for pre-order now. Hit up grangersmith.com to get your copy and get a free sample chapter to start reading right away.
I’m also currently recording the audiobook.
