.@MetaMask could have lost millions. @Consensys unknowingly brought in a developer using the alias "Tyler Knapp". the developer came through a trusted third-party contractor. he worked as a consultant for around a month. parts of his work touched MetaMask's core codebase. including features related to crypto-to-fiat functionality. later on, Consensys discovered the developer was linked to North Korea. access was revoked immediately. product releases were paused. every recent code change went through another round of security reviews. the investigation found no malicious code. seeing news like this is honestly refreshing. the amounts of hacks i saw on my timeline this week has been something. > @bonzo_finance lost around $9.05M through a price oracle manipulation. > @Ostium was exploited for around $18M. > BarnBridge lost roughly $776K through a malicious governance proposal. > @DeFiTuna Lending suffered a protocol logic exploit worth around $580K. > @cascade_xyz's CLS vault got exploited of $1.3M > @Lumi_Finance lost around $270K through a silent auto-approval attack. that's more that $30M in a week. nobody loves it when these exploits happen. it should serve as a constant reminder to builders on how expensive a single mistake can become. really glad Consensys caught it early. DPRK hacks have always been catastrophic. constant security reviews are never wasted effort. regular audits are never just another checkbox. while good security reviews won't make the news, integrity and trust are assured. and with that, we all get to progress as a space.

Was definitely worth holding $Ansem to roobinhood memes, lots of rug and few team dedicated to even holding a token they control most if the supply's $CASHCAT ripped 4,000%+ to $200M+ MC then dumped 65% in a week. Now sitting ~$75M MC with -58% 7d, volume drying up, pure flipper rotation. $ANSEM? Climbed to $450M peak, consolidating with holder count still rising (131k+), even after another real airdrops from creator fees yesterday ( although wasn't transparent in distribution) but some or few $ANSEM holders locked in on long-term holding were airdroped 3 figures of the token. Less rug energy, more conviction plays. Hoping for another leg-up soon or straight to zero ( NFA)
