So, in case anyone is curious what's going on up here in Canada... We continue to have hate-protests regularly, incitement and violence exploding on the streets of Canada. We have impending tariffs from our largest trade partner, the United States, set to kick in tomorrow. We have an upcoming leadership race that will decide the next Prime Minister of our country. So far, one quarter of a percent of Canadians have registered to vote for that. Many others have tried but have received no response. We have a major opioid crisis with fentanyl being a large contributor to the rise in opioid-related deaths. And what's our government doing about it? Are they passing laws? Are they debating the issues? Are they proposing solutions? No. They're prorogued, a fancy term for "on a really long fucking break" because the current government knows they'll be voted out if they were in session. It is a corrupt way of maintaining power, and the systems that are in place to prevent this, are actually enabling it.
