I went on a training op near Fairbanks AK with the Marines during June. Sleeping in a tent made the never ending sunlight a very surreal and honestly difficult experience for sleeping conditions to say the least.

Not that it’s anything too serious yet but any bow echos that form tomorrow for Houston will be capable of straight line wind threats. I’d caution people to try and head home before 3 pm should this continue on modeling.

Early May will definitely not be swimming weather for anyone. Crazy long duration trough signal showing up for the first 10 or so days of May. This will keep the storm track way South with below to well below average temperatures across a large portion of the country.
