This was so much fun! 🤩 Scaffold-Agent is super powerful and easy to use. Paired with tools like @1clawAI and @ampersend_ai you can build all sorts of interesting agents.

AI agents are holding keys and signing txns - usually with no guardrails. At the latest edition of the Underground, @cryptomastery_ (@1clawAI / @edgeandnode) showed the fix: keys live in an HSM, signing in a TEE, spend capped before signing. The agent never sees the key.

Fun fact: Bitcoin can be as secure as today WITHOUT ANY MINERS! (And no, I'm not talking about forking to PoS. I said "as secure" lol.) In fact, as long as everyone agrees on the hash of the last tip, you don't even need the internet. With quantum computers, it is possible to completely remove the need for Bitcoin mining in the long term while compromising hardly anything! The existing chain remains as a source of initial truth, and everything else remains offline. Double spending is not prevented by a network of verifiers, but by the laws of physics! Learn all about it from Tuesday's lectures about the quantum promise and threat to Bitcoin. @or_sattath (my Ph.D co-advisor and the S in LSZ) presented the promise, while I explained the threat 👿 The lectures are in English, link to the video in the original post.
