While Beckham was playing, he was already thinking about his post-football career. He redefined branding for footballers. He was appearing in front pages of newspapers, his different hairstyles were making headlines, adidas also came in. There’s a story that Alex Ferguson only wanted his players to wear black boots, Beckham was the first to disobey the gaffer because he came in with some white fancy boots😅 everybody was shocked. Who dare disobeys Sir Alex? People like Beckham crawled so Cristiano could walk. Ferguson had calmed down by the time Cristiano came to Man United. Fashion? Beckham was on runways😅. He was modelling for different brands. Ferguson was angry because he brought Beckham from London as a child, took him from his parents. Ferguson was angry that the same boy was now doing things that he didn’t expect footballers to do? He was disobeying him on different occasions like the time he wanted Beckham to work with a particular agent but he refused. That boy he brought from London was now a man haha. Ferguson ran mad when he caught Beckham at the airport, while he thought he was in Manchester all along. It was even crazier when he fell in love with Victoria, that he would leave Manchester to London for a show, and sneak back in. You should listen to Gary Neville’s stories on this because he was Beckham’s room mate and best man. Beckham would even fly out of uk and sneak back in, until Ferguson caught him at the airport one day 😂😂😂 Beckham would get money from endorsements and squander it on ONE Rolex watch. Roy Keane once said Beckham would turn up to training in some crazy fast cars, and everybody would be like 😮😮😮. In other words, he said he wasn’t really bothered about his lifestyle, because Beckham would deliver in games every weekend. None of those things affected him on the pitch, it was always 10/10. That being said, Beckham built his brand because he knew his post-football career is way longer than his footballer career. Signing for LA Galaxy also changed his life, and being with the right agents and advisers. His manager then, Simon, included a clause in his contract that Beckham would be able to start or buy a club for $25m once MLS expands in few years, and remember MLS wanted these big names in the league to give it visibility. Few years after retirement, he was able to start a club in Miami for $25m, and that same club is now worth over $1b, the greatest footballer ever now plays in that same club, the elevation is madness. Remember guys, God will give you something to work with, it’s now up to you to make a meal out of it. Selah.

And no, I don't agree that he is a simp. What's the point marrying someone you won't simp for? However, the simping HAS TO BE bidirectional. The pry concept of love is giving someone the ability to hurt you & trusting them not to - you also NEED to have that power over them.

I've just been nuanced on the crux of the conversation being the fact that he's demanding 100 videos for the entire month - that's 4 videos per day, including weekends. Yeah, If God didn't punish him over the weekend, God will punish him this coming week.

Since we're on the conversation of recruitment. There's this guy you people were cooking over the weekend - who had opinions I agree with. He pegged 500K - 1M/month to hire a video editor from Nigeria & he was called all sorts of names with rhetorics like: "He should have hired from Canada". Here's what I think: 1. That people are working remotely from the global south, doesn't mean they should be paid peanuts. 1M per month IS NOT peanut. 2. There's an obvious reason he didn't hire from Canada. From a business perspective, it makes sense. It is the same business perspective that a lot of web3 based companies digitally based in Virgin Islands have offsites in Nairobi, hiring a lot of Nigerians/Indians. 3. There's a reason why Spotify/ Netflix/ YouTube charge people from Vietnam, India, Nigeria differently from people in Canada or France. In fact, people in Poland and Bulgaria are charged differently from people in Switzerland. There are people who had accounts in Nigeria before moving abroad, that have refused to even migrate their accounts because they're still paying in naira. (Proudly one). When billings and payments are structured, it is done from a geographical and economic perspective. 4. Regardless of your public tantrums, there are people who are currently begging for 1/5th of that offer, with exceptional skills. What makes this unfortunate is - it opens the portals for dubious employers to take advantage of desperate job seekers & it enforces a culture where people are actually paid less than they deserve. This is the main reason why we need to promote a culture where we can have reasonable debates when these conversations pop. You live in Nigeria. That 1M payment might be enough to clear out your entire annual rent (Lagos is not Nigeria). If he's to hire someone based in Canada, pay the person $3,500 - it might cater to just a month's rent. Realities differ. If you live in a 3rd world country earning 1st world currency, for your exceptional skills - when you're paid significantly higher than your peers who live in the same 3rd world country earning 3rd world currency, earn it and shush it. If you want to demand finely equal pay, as a Nigerian resident with a Canadian resident - find your way to move out of Nigeria and immerse yourself in the same reality.

You're out here calling them "rented idiots" who skipped shifts for a "show of shame," questioning why they're in the UK if the mandate is so glorious. Solid burn attempt, doc, but let us diagnose this logic real quick, It's got more holes than a stethoscope during a budget cut. First off, migration isn't a referendum on one president's term and it's a global hustle. Indians, Chinese, Americans, heck, even Brits are scattered everywhere chasing opportunities, education, or just better weather. Those folks singing "On Your Mandate" might have left Nigeria years before Tinubu even sniffed the presidency, or maybe they're there on student visas, work permits, or family ties. Not everyone's exodus is a direct "Tinubu made me do it" sob story. By your reasoning, every expat waving their home flag abroad is a hypocrite. What, you think the Irish in Boston hate Ireland because they're not back in Dublin? And let's not skip the self own here, you're repping 🇬🇧 🇳🇬 yourself, Doc. If Nigeria's such a mess under Tinubu that supporters abroad are "idiots" for backing him, what's your excuse for chilling in the UK? Applying logic from a London flat while critiquing others for the same? Pot, meet kettle but both boiling with hypocrisy. If the mandate's that bad, pack your bags and lead the Obi revolution from Lagos. Or is the NHS too comfy to abandon? Look, supporting Obi is fine, critiquing government excess is your bio's whole vibe, but this take? It's like prescribing aspirin for a broken leg, I guess that feels good in the moment but doesn't fix the real issue. Nigeria's challenges predate Tinubu (and Obi, for that matter), and reducing it to "why you no dey Naija?" is just lazy Twitter bait. Next time, aim for that #5Solas precision instead of drive by insults. Stay healthy out there, doc, don't let the mandate fever get you.
OurFaveOnlineDoc 🇬🇧 🇳🇬@OurFavOnlineDoc

President Tinubu was welcome by Nigerians in UK, who are singing the "On Your Mandate" anthem. I only have one question for these rented idiots, who skipped their shifts for this show of shame, If his mandate was so glorious, What are you doing in uk???

My classmates once told me something that made him believe life is deeply spiritual. He said he met a very beautiful girl at a small party one evening. They talked, laughed, and everything felt so natural between them. Before the night ended, she agreed to come back to his place. According to him, the moment they got into his house, the atmosphere suddenly changed. The girl who had been cheerful all night became unusually quiet. She kept looking around the room like she was uncomfortable, especially near a small corner where he normally prayed. After a few minutes, she stood up and said she needed to leave immediately. My neighbor was confused and asked if he did something wrong. The girl looked at him strangely and said, “There’s something in this house that doesn’t like me being here.” He laughed it off and thought she was joking, but she insisted on leaving right away. The next morning, he mentioned the story to his grandmother. She simply smiled and said, “When you keep your house in prayer, not every spirit will feel comfortable entering.” He told me that was the moment he realized that life might be more spiritual than we think. Some things we can’t see… but they are definitely there.

I saw this post and I had to really reflect before speaking. Let’s clear something up,being quiet about your life is not a trophy, and sharing your life is not a crime. If someone has stayed in the UK for 3 years without posting it, that’s their choice. But that choice doesn’t automatically make them deeper, wiser, or more mature than someone who shares their milestones online. We need to stop ranking personalities. Some people guard their privacy because that’s how they feel safe. Some people share their journey because that’s how they feel alive. Some heal in silence. Some heal by speaking. Both are healthy when they come from a genuine place. Not everything posted is for validation. Sometimes it’s gratitude. Sometimes it’s documentation. Sometimes it’s simply joy. And joy deserves expression too. Maturity is not measured by how hidden you are. Insecurity is not measured by how visible you are. The real measure is intention. Are you living in alignment with who you truly are? Or are you choosing silence or visibility just to fit into a trend? There is strength in privacy. There is strength in expression. What truly matters is authenticity. And let’s also remember something important, bad things still happen to people who are private. Being low-key is not a shield against life’s realities. Privacy does not guarantee protection, and it definitely does not guarantee forever. So instead of competing over who is more “mature,” focus on living fully, honestly, and intentionally. Don’t let anyone redefine your personality in the name of maturity. Live in a way that feels true to you. PS: if you feel you're too private for this page, please use the unfollow button and save yourself the stress of dealing with my immaturity because I haven't even started yet.T for thanks #nursejoy #joy #nursing #northcarolina #bekindalways #nursejoywilliam #nurses

It sounds like he may be struggling to balance his new life abroad with old connections, and his silence likely reflects his own distractions rather than anything you've done. Sometimes the quietest endings are the ones that teach us to find peace in simply letting go without demanding answers.

My guy relocated to UK and for the first month we were still talking normally. Then somehow it just stopped. He updates his story almost every day, but doesn’t return my calls or texts. I’m not even asking him for money or anything. Just normal friendship like before. It’s strange how things can change so quietly.

@Adasu_d_gr8 I think it is wrong for the man to walk away sha. A quiet lady can also get angry if pushed. Anyone in her shoes at that moment might do the same or more. It seems the man was there that day to breakup with her because that reason was too flimsy.

My friend dated this calm and quiet girl for two years and were already planning their wedding Guy visited her in their family house one day, babe just finished mopping, and not fully dried yet. Returned to veranda saw that someone's shoes had stained the wet floor. She blew hot. "Who get this stupid shoe. Una no go wait make place dry?" She picked the shoes and flung them away. "See how shoe don chop finish, come use am de stain wetin I don mop. No be me una go klll with work for this house. Useless people." She thought it was her brother's. She was still ranting when she entered the house and saw her fiance with mouth agape. Guy just stood up and walked out. It was the last time they spoke. A wedding that was fortnight away just collapsed.

It’s called the Reverse Breadcrumb.. works mostly on avoidant women who wait for you to text and choose when to reply or engage So here’s how it works, first meet her with attention, care, validation to see who she is, if she reciprocates, tries to initiate sometimes or clearly tells you she ain’t interested, you know she’s not a candidate for this hack but.. If she only talks about herself, no feedback when you open up to her and never initiates but waits for you, you’ve gotten your contender The idea is, immediately she pulls away when you bring up a need or pulls away waiting for you to reach out so she can choose to answer or not, don’t. Go no contact She’ll also go no contact, doesn’t matter, go about your life, post on socials, literally live but don’t delete her contact.. one way or another she’ll come back, not to build anything or cos she’s changed but cos she misses the attention so she’ll try drop little care or little initiation but here’s where you win.. You simply don’t reply She’ll feel bad, it’ll trigger her abandonment wounds that she’s so afraid of and she’ll go no contact again but cos it’s a wound, and she still misses that attention, she’ll come back again lol. Now here’s how you do it, you entertain her, but make sure it’s on your terms, get what you want.. could be sex, it’s mostly always sex and do what, ghost again Make sure the sex is really good that it makes her come back, and when she does, you know the drill, you don’t reply🙂‍↔️ She’s trying to breadcrumb you but guess who’s being breadcrumbed now N/B: I’ve never done this, I read it somewhere, it’s for educational purposes only

This happened in the UK… and I’m still shocked. Neighbours noticed the house was unusually quiet. No school run. No shouting. No movement. At first, they thought maybe the family travelled for the weekend. Until day three. A smell started coming from the kitchen window. That’s when someone knocked. No answer. They knocked again. Still nothing. Police were called. When they broke the door open, what they found made everyone freeze. Three children. Alone. The oldest wasn’t even a teenager. The youngest was still in nappies. No adult in the house. The parents? They had travelled out of the country. Not an emergency. Not hospital. Not deportation. They went “home” to attend a family event. Left the children behind. No babysitter. No neighbour. No school informed. Just locked the door and travelled. The children had been surviving on food left in the freezer. When social services traced the parents and asked why they did it, the response shocked people even more: “We didn’t think it would be a big problem.” That sentence alone caused chaos. Because in the UK, this isn’t just irresponsible. It’s a serious criminal offence. The children were taken into care immediately. Now here’s where the argument started Some people said: • “How could any parent do this?” • “They should never get those children back.” Others said: • “Do you know the pressure migrants are under?” • “Some parents are one bad decision away from disaster.” But one question kept coming up over and over: How desperate do you have to be to leave your children alone and travel anyway? So I want to ask you honestly: Is this pure wickedness? Or a painful example of pressure, poor judgement, and broken support systems?
