Social Media is lying to you ‼️😤 A friend of mine (Derick) posted a meme on how some people have it easy compared to him and it got me thinking Domething gradually destroying a lot of us you are not behind in life, you are just watching the wrong people too often people winning, travelling, buying stuff, achieving things and after some time you begin to feel that's how everybody is...it is not Social media is lying to you! not that everything is fake but that it's incomplete you are in your 20s or 30s and you are watching a tiny percentage of people in your age group doing extremely well and now you feel everybody is ahead of you but you have to realise that you are not watching your age group, you are watching 0.1% of your age group (probably lesser) these guys are at the absolute top, the most visible and amplified people have you ever stopped to think of the remaining 99.9% What are they doing? they are not trending, they are not viral, they are simply not on your screen, but they exist and are living normal lives they are figuring things out and growing at their own pace but because you don't see them you start to feel like you are the only one left behind you are not behind, you are just exposed to a very small group of people over and over again until it starts to feel like that's the standard and it is not, you are just measuring your life with the wrong sample size Because if you leave social media for a bit and look at the real life, you will realize something very quickly People your age are still trying to figure things out, people in their 20s, 30s, 40s etc the difference is that some of them do it quietly, many are not on camera and they are not under pressure to prove anything but you are judging your real life against those whose lives are being amplified This turned out to be a bit long, here is the TLDR TLDR ➥ Grow at you own pace ➥ Learn from people's success don't compare Also remember 🫴 You are 1 in 8 Billion+ people so you are special, forge your own path.

Another thing I’ve noticed while using STON.fi is how important small details are. it’s actually hilarious to see that many people think they’re stuck > when they just keep resetting their own progress every week > missing a day turns into missing a week > a bad day turns into “i’ll start next monday” > then monday becomes next month they get a small win, feel good for a bit then disappear back into old habits like nothing happened start, stop, restart but never build long enough for anything to stack and then it becomes “nothing is working” when nothing was ever given enough time to work
