Dragonfly Pixie was actually one of the works from Matt Vegh's 1,250 piece full-circle meta-phygital Mosaic NFT drop which he debuted at the ArtGateVR Meta Biennale in Toronto Nov 18th, 2021. These are screenshot pics off of a video inside VR and of course they are much nicer inside VR. What you may find interesting about these works of art are that they all start as small physical oil on canvas paintings, which were "mined" or "harvested" from hundreds of Matt Vegh's abstract paintings from 2015 to 2021. All of these scenes were "discovered" through the mining process, which involved countless hours (countless days, weeks, months actually!) of scanning and searching the larger stock canvasses for the final Mosaic Tiles.
Matt Vegh sells over 100 original works of art each year and one of the reasons is that his artwork can be viewed at both the macro and micro levels. You can always find people, animals, landscapes, creatures, dancers, Buddhas and many other things in his paintings. For his Mosaic NFT drop, he took it to the next level and produced 1,250 original works of art, digitized them and then put them in his experiential Metaverse gallery. He personally painted, mined, cut and prepared each one.
Middle Kingdom Studios had several showrooms for the Meta Biennale featuring some of their projects, including Mosaic NFT, Kingdoms of AI, and Temples of AI by Nathaniel Vegh.
These guys have been pioneering phygital art from the very beginning.

The "Dragonfly Pixie" is one of our favorite works from our founder @MattVegh's 1,250 Mosaic Tile phygital art drop. Another world-first for him in the Web3 art space after his World's 1st Community-Minted NFT for the MetisDAO. Oil and metallic acrylics on layered ink wash.
