What is the #WebOfNations? It is the missing epistemological layer for the Web that could anchor trust in real legal and judicial systems, and make those visible to both web clients and servers. pdf: co-operating.systems/2020/06/01/WoN… @bblfish/use-cases-for-the-web-of-nations-361c24d5eaee" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">medium.com/@bblfish/use-c…

For August 2023's Patron-Only video, I talk about opposites, or duality, and how they relate to each other hierarchically, as center/margin, right-hand/left-hand, heaven/earth, and masculine/feminine. Support at any level for access: thesymbolicworld.com/subscribe

Everyone is crazy. I can’t side with anyone in this conflict: the Burners, the protesters, or the rangers. I can only sit here addicted to my screen and X feed and watch, dumbfounded and distracted from whatever I should be attending to.

Nevada rangers drove directly into a blockade set up by climate protestors on the road to Burning Man. An officer pulled a gun out, tackling a protestor and threatening to shoot Environmental activists were demanding that #BurningMan ban private jets + single-use plastics

@calvinrobinson @KeithRuss50 @ThoughtRejected Important facts: Skin color pigmentation evolved 10-20 thousand years ago, Homo-Sapiens appeared 300 thousand years ago, Sapiens something like 3 million years ago, XY/XX chromosomes 300 million years ago.

“Black culture”?! You can bet your life he’d never celebrate “white culture.” Will there be a celebration of “brown culture,” too? Why not something unifying like British culture? 🇬🇧 Why do we have such a divisive race-baiting Mayor of London? Does our capital even need a metropolitan mayor? He causes more harm than good.
Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan@MayorofLondon

NEW: I’m excited to introduce a brand new event, taking place in Trafalgar Square on 2 September. Black on the Square is a free celebration of Black culture and creativity. With fantastic music, spoken word, dance, art and food, you won’t want to miss it.

The #GOPDebate last night was out of sync with the mood of the country. It began with a request for comment on Oliver Anthony’s @AintGottaDollar song, “Rich Men North of Richmond.”

@johnredwood Because setting up branches are very expensive, and online banks are very competitive. ID proof could be done very differently. Having local business knowledge is the main advantage of local banking. How many banks use that advantage?

Why do banks want to close so many branches and lose contact with customers? ID proof is a lot easier and more reliable if you go to your local branch regularly where they know you.

Captchas are getting ridiculous. Bots are now better at solving them than humans. Monetary gating appears to be the most effective strategy in the short term.

@elonmusk @cstanley The Web of Nations will be the correct way to do things. It will help you tremendously to consider this as it will give you an unusual talking point when meeting world leaders. @bblfish/use-cases-for-the-web-of-nations-361c24d5eaee" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">medium.com/@bblfish/use-c…

@ianmiles I think one should not block retrospectively, and after a while one should no longer be able to delete.

It’s my opinion that blocking people is a lot like being able to lock your front door. It doesn’t prevent crazy people from being outside in the street but it stops most of them from being able to infringe on you. Crucially, it stops X from turning into a free-for-all hellscape.

Very interesting opinion piece in the Times today. AI just compounds all the issues. These are the sorts of questions that need to be addressed at the Global Summit in November thetimes.co.uk/article/49f0ac…

@DameWendyDBE The Web of Nations (#WoN) could allow people to use certificates of personhood and for AI to be declared and linked to a company. This would also allow one to filter posts by legally holdable-accountable players. I should add AI to the examples: @bblfish/use-cases-for-the-web-of-nations-361c24d5eaee" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">medium.com/@bblfish/use-c…

We spend $4.3 trillion annually on healthcare and 86% of those funds go to treating chronic diseases. When I am President of the United States, I am going to end the chronic disease epidemic in this country. #Kennedy24
