We hope winter break has been a time of rest and relaxation for our entire GISD community. As we begin the second semester, we’re excited to welcome back all the familiar faces! A friendly reminder: all staff and faculty return tomorrow, Monday, January 6th, while students will return to their regularly scheduled classes on Tuesday, January 7th.

Dear GISD parents, We are very excited to begin a wonderful new school year in GISD. We just want to remind you that in order for your student to attend school and for 7th graders to get their schedules, all vaccines must be in compliance or an immunization waiver provided. Please visit garlandisd.net/immunizations to see a required list of vaccines. Get vaccinated at our Student Services Clinic! If you do not have insurance, you may reach out to our enrollment clinic at 972-494-8538 to see if you qualify for free vaccines.
