@SkySportsNews If this goes through and the likes of City and Chelsea get away with everything by throwing more dirty cash to a corrupt entity, all the other clubs should just boycott the Premier League
Premier League is proposing to allow clubs to negotiate settlements over alleged breaches of its financial rules rather that seeing their cases automatically refereed to an independent commission, according to Sky News' Mark Kleinman.
@mufcytp You can tell that they are being briefed on what to say by SKY, which by the way, control what happens in the Premier League. Just listen to Gary Neville - I fail to believe that a supporter of the club & investor constantly spews negativity when United play.
On Sky Sports’ MNF, Jamie Carragher said West Ham’s goal vs Arsenal was rightly ruled out because there was a “grip” from Pablo.
However, on a clip of Saliba’s challenge on Bayındır and why it wasn’t given as a foul, he said:
“The goalkeeper has to do better on that one.”
@nocontextfm1 With VAR you always will spot a foul if you really want to. It just depends on the agenda of the official whether to act. So although VAR is supposed to be there to solve the clear and obvious, it’s just a dangerous tool used to fit the personal agenda of the offical on the day.
@TouchlineX You mean the referee who completely lost control of that Arsenal vs Atleti semi final has been rewarded to officiate the final? The man was letting a whole bench obstruct throw ins and a manager literally going on the pitch tackling all match 😂
@themichaelowen Thought the rule was always the same before this season and seemed to work just fine - you get into contact with the goaler, it’s a foul. Not sure why all of a sudden Royal Rumbles have been allowed - until a complete rule change all of a sudden yesterday.
It was definitely a foul on Raya in yesterday’s game. However, weren’t there fouls elsewhere in the same passage? It’s becoming virtually impossible to officiate a game at corners. The authorities are going to need to consider bringing in a rule to stop this farce that has taken the shine off this season.
@Abz_Csay@ronaldobrown_98 Well, this season was about allowing literally everything at set pieces. Pushing, pulling, barging, blocking, holding the goalie’s hands - all allowed. Not sure why the sudden change of heart yesterday?
@ronaldobrown_98 I think at the start of next season they need to set out clear guidelines on what is or isn't allowed from set pieces. There is too much confusion at the moment
Through all the aggro, the simple fact is… refs in this league are just rubbish & inconsistent.
All 20 teams can point to about 5 dodgy decisions against them in the season, thats the problem.
They have too much power to swing titles, relegation, europe etc, with none of the accountability.
@ZaidBalll Problem is, Arsenal have scored about 10 goals from similar situations this season, including against us. Why is it always “ The goaler needs to be a lot stronger there “ but never the case when Arsenal are involved?
@AliceTalksFooty I swear I can remember Gary Neville saying that Bayindir should be a lot stronger in that match after literally being held. Listen to him today! Absolute tosser
@FrankEra_ They will, unfortunately beat anyone in the final with their dark arts football. For some reason or another, they are getting a lot of dodgy decisions going their way & officials are being very lenient with them. Arteta has even managed to make Simeone look normal!
@DieForManUnited@FA_PGMOL Investigated? He was actually given the biggest match of the season as a reward for that Martinez blunder. Can’t even call it a blunder to be fair, as by the standards of the decisions today, you can’t really describe it otherwise than being a corrupt decision.
@AyJayL What the hell are you on about? Martinez literally got the most ridiculous red card in the history of the PL - and it was actually reciewed and given by VAR !!!
That Gabriel yellow card is exactly what the rest of the league is on about. That's a Super League 6 decision.
No way that Branthwaite, Senesi, Van Hecke, Lacroix get away with that.
No way.
@sistoney67 I felt offended by Okafor saying ‘Fuck off’ right into the camera, live on television whilst sitting peacefully at home - assuming that an investigation will be carried out and a ban to follow, right?
FA written reasons essentially confirm fourth official heard Maguire swear and context meant he felt it was at the officials. Maguire denied this. Said he swore because he was frustrated. Commission sided with fourth official. Said they would have asked for two match ban but mitigation, inc Maguire character, meant they settled on one.
@sistoney67 Am assuming that this has now prejudiced the game. Every player that says ‘Fuck off’ to the officials, which happens quite often in every game, will be given a match ban?
Sorry as much as I’m United. You can’t pull someone’s hair, those are the rules. I really don’t get this hair pulling situation that’s becoming popular in the men and women’s game. For me it is a red! Regardless of people thinking it’s soft.
@talkSPORT It’s actually a free kick to Martinez - he gets smashed in the face & gets sent off for picking a guy’s scrunchie. This wasn’t given in error, it’s pure corruption.
❌ "It's not a red card... That is not violent conduct!"
🤦♂️ "Is it a free kick? Yes, but it's not violent conduct!"
Ally McCoist insists it was wrong to send off #MUFC's Lisandro Martinez for a hair pull in their loss to #LUFC! 😤
@SkySportsPL The cheek for VAR to even look for that & slow a 0.2 second hold to make it look worse than it was in reality just shows you the whole agenda. United were bad, but the officiating was absolutely woeful. Referee and his linesmen were itching to let Leeds get away with anything.
@Footballtweet Why can DCL slap & elbow players in the face all game and get away with everything - and this is considered violent conduct? Just fuck off - games gone
