Speaking of internships ... PAID INTERNSHIPS still have a long way to go when it comes to recruitment. Low-income students are screwed with unpaid internships but also with paid ones where they only scout "top-tier" schools. There are brilliant minds at state schools, too.

Stop glamorizing “the grind” and start glamorizing getting 7+ hours of sleep at night, having healthy relationships, feeling safe at work, taking sick days, being paid a living wage, working hard when you’re at work, boundaries, and self-caring your way to success.

ive come to learn the ppl who think being broke for an unpaid internship was some fun or some necessary experience usually weren't broke. being broke is not fun. the people saying this were often playing poverty w/ in-the-wings family money -- it was all heroes journey, no stakes
