@aruni_t @Uber Uber is HORRIBLE. Their was no support from its customer service when i accidentally left behind an important belonging during a ride. They are rude and arrogant in their virtual communications, and no traceable physical presence to lodge complaints. Pl avoid UBER at all cost😱

During my last holiday in Sri Lanka in December 2024, I decided to stop using @Uber to travel due to many unsafe practices. The fact that while a driver is on a hire yet keeps receiving new hires that beeps on his mobile device until he manually rejects it was strange to me. I recommend Kangaroo Cabs as the drivers are vetted and it’s safe and reliable - especially for solo females.

@murtazajaff URGENT: I'm afraid the phrasing of this question lacks precision and consistency. Holidays applicable for the public and private (only 8 public holidays) sectors are different. Using the broad brush creates a wrong impression. The duration of the weekly holiday also matters.

A survey on reform of holidays - if public holidays are to be reduced by 5 (those falling on weekdays) what would you prefer

For some strange reason President ⁦@anuradisanayake⁩ brought a few thousand people in buses last evening all the way to Jaffna and spoke to them here, when he could’ve gone to their own districts and addressed them there. Travel cost would’ve been much less 😃

Our #female workforce participation is abt 33% & 20th in world in #gendergap. labour law reforms focuses on increasing female participation thru removing night time restrictions part time & flexible jobs. We should allocate a quota for women for jobs traditionally done by men
