This happened plenty of times when I was a cashier at multiple different businesses. If somebody hands you a fake bill and you don't catch it you have to pay for it. She didn't want to have to pay for their shit. The way they're acting is a telltale sign that they are not in the right here. They wanted to bully her into giving them what they wanted despite the fact that they were the ones stealing. I got duped one time with a couple really good fake twenties and I had to eat that. When you're working for $8.25/$7.25 an hour and somebody makes you pay 60 bucks or even 20 bucks, that's hours of your work gone. Honestly f*** those people for treating her like that.

Imagine being accused of stealing a customer’s change… while standing behind the register. 😳 A tense moment at Dollar Tree after a customer accused the cashier of keeping their change and refusing to hand it over. Voices rose, the phone came out, and the confrontation quickly turned into a full-blown scene at the checkout. What should’ve been a quick purchase suddenly became a standoff over a few dollars. If this happened to you, would you start recording too… or try to handle it quietly with a manager? 🤔
