Yep I’m complaining but also the interaction speaks to how bias works, how there is misogyny literally everywhere even if it is “benign” & unintentional. Misogyny is not always “overt” and women who note it are “overly sensitive” & this is one reason patriarchy is hard to undo

On a flight and the very capable and polite FA is calling the guy next to me Dr so & so and fawning over him, and calling me by my first name so in a very friendly way I said my name is Dr Martin but you can call me by my first name and she said “Ok sorry Miss Martin.” 🙄
