@WeeElBee It was inside the box, but if it is deemed outside it is DOGSO as he is about to get his shot away. Threfore a red card...neither given so VAR have some explaining to do.

If Var decides the tackle was outside the box how can the ref not then award the free kick? Is Var telling the ref there was no foul? 🤷‍♀️

@fifepl Yeh I get that I'm thinking if Var say it's outside the box then the ref (not var) can award a free kick. However I see the issue here stems from the ref not spotting the foul at the time. Which is in itself a clear and obvious error 🤷‍♀️

@steven0128s @declan_19 @TeddyJan Var could have spotted that yes it was a foul but if outside box why not get the ref to the monitor then for missing a potential red card . Var becomes pointless in this situation. Ref has made a clear and obvious error.

@WeeElBee @declan_19 @TeddyJan That's not in the remit of VAR. The ref has to give a foul then the decision is inside or outside. By not giving the foul, it's then up to VAR to decide a) if it is a foul, then b) if it inside or outside. Inside a pen is awarded. Outside play must restart.
