This is awful. Hand sanitizer takes the strip of all of my cards and I can’t check into @CourtyardHotels. Front desk person in a horrible mood and says even though I have tons of ID and chip works perfectly on all cards, have to use the old strip machine. Or no refund + get out.

Why is this convention center courtyard being so Painfully discourteous and harming my financial well-being? I had to go find another hotel that night and pay for it and I don’t have the money. My apartment flooded and we’re still waiting on insurance..

Saying they’re keeping my money. I almost fell over shocked. I had this happen once. someone could not accept my card because had partially melted and couldn’t swipe and the chain said of course no no that’s a requirement is not in our disclaimers yes here’s a refund.
