Two highly publicized recent affairs in two years -one for many years w/ woman he pressured a donor to hire, then one that prompted his wife to file for divorce. Not Swalwell or a Democrat. But Ken Paxton, who might get elected US Senator from Texas - with Trump's endorsement.

TX Rs have surrendered any "Texas" brand. Once Paxton disposes of Cornyn & is nominated, ALL their TX statewide & major district-level nominees & supporting groups will be national MAGA Trump loyalists not really Texas-driven at all. They cosplay as Texans but submit to Trump.

The debate over James Talarico calling God "nonbinary" is silly because it shouldn't be a debate. It is scripturally true. God is everything. God is everyone. God is every gender. Case closed. But we get into this ridiculous convo because conservatives find it Very Important to describe God as masculine. More importantly, they demand God be described as a man. Several years ago, I did a segment on MSNBC and referred to God with "she/her" pronouns. I wasn't being political with that. I really wasn't. That's just how I refer to God, and it is scripturally sound even if conservatives swear it isn't. So, this rightwing reporter reaches out to me on LinkedIn because he watched the segment, and he was quite upset with me for using she/her pronouns in reference to God. I asked him: "What is your scientific argument that God is male? Do we know anything about his anatomy?" He responds: "No, of course not. It's because God is referred to as 'he' and 'him' all throughout Scripture." And I said: "So, let me get this straight: you have no scientific evidence that God is male, no descriptions of God's anatomy that would support that claim, but because God identifies as male and uses he/him pronouns, you respect and honor that. What does that sound like to you?" And he started typing and then he stopped typing and then he blocked me. These folks are loons and we should call them loons and we should challenge them on Scripture and we shouldn't back down from that conversation. So, yeah, I think James Talarico is spot-on and I give thanks to God, in all Her wisdom, that She inspires him to speak the truth.

This exchange just happened on the Senate floor. Cornyn: “I don’t understand how the SAVE Act disenfranchises voters.” Durbin: “Happy to explain. Driver’s licenses don’t qualify under the bill. 50% of Americans don’t have passports.” Cornyn: “Why not just amend it?” Durbin: “When’s the last time the Senate actually amended a bill?” Silence. The SAVE Act requires passport-level documentation to register to vote. 50% of Americans don’t have a passport. The people least likely to have passports: the elderly, the poor, rural Americans, young first-time voters. The people most likely to have passports: wealthy Americans. This is not voter protection. This is voter selection. And when a senator suggested fixing it — his own colleague couldn’t name the last time the Senate amended anything. That’s the Senate in 2026.

So we’ve had what? 3 possibly 4 terror attacks since Trump decided to go to war with Iran? Gas is outrageous and stocks plunged 750 points today. Not to mention the jobs reports being in the major negatives and the mortgage interest rates going back up. But MAGA!!

A Talarico supporter brought up James Carville, and the like, being toxic advocates for the campaign. The Talarico campaign responded by calling Colin Allred mediocre and saying it's a coordinated attack from Jasmine Crockett...instead of telling Carville, and that ilk, to stop!

The City of Austin is aware of rumors circulating online of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents staging in Austin in preparation for operations here. City officials have been in contact with regional ICE representatives and have been assured that ICE does not have operations focused on Warming Center or Cold Weather Sheltering facilities. Officials have also been told that operations are regular ICE operations and that agents are not coming into Austin from other areas and checking into local hotels.
