@GingerAdd1ct Plenty of careers are abandoning people. Have you not heard about all the layoffs in tech industry, just as one example? Companies aren't loyal like they used to be offering good retirement plans. That's all gone with the boomers.

Sometimes someone gives you an ounce of attention, even if it was manipulated attention, the trauma causes you to latch on, you eventually get tired of being treated like trash, it ends, cycle repeats.
I think women have a sense for that, at least those with ulterior motives, and take advantage. Simple explanation.
