OMOV vs delegation debates are kind of silly because neither addresses the core issue of poor politicisation of the base. I’m not interested in the American debate (cba), but the idea delegation leads to more politicisation in Britain is baseless.

@ShinMarginalScr real internal deliberation and culture is part of what builds and sustains that party though, you cant split the 2 from one another. and obviously a bigger org with more money would be preferable, everyone would agree with that

@WelcomeToTheGIK The main issue right now is that basebuilding is weak. A large party could facilitate that through funds etc. and this is wholly more productive than bickering over control in a Quaker Meeting House.
