Weld County Republican Party

This Saturday is one of the most important days for our party this year. On Saturday, March 7 at 9:00 AM, Republicans across Weld County will gather for Precinct Caucus, the first step in nominating Republican candidates for office. From Assessor to County Commissioner, from State Senator to Governor, the candidates who will carry the Republican banner in 2026 begin their journey at caucus. But that process only works if Republicans show up. At caucus, you will meet with your neighbors from your precinct and elect delegates who will attend the next levels of our party’s assembly process. Those delegates will go on to vote at District and County Assemblies to help determine which candidates appear on the June Republican Primary ballot. In short, delegates help decide who becomes the Republican nominees for office. Weld County has been allocated 196 delegates to the State Assembly, giving our county a strong voice in the nomination process. But that voice only matters if we have Republicans willing to step up and serve. If you care about the future of Weld County, Colorado, and our party, we strongly encourage you to attend caucus and consider serving as a delegate.
