@realSellers1 @7s1n51 @Pontifex Simply untrue.
Catholic Charities USA deployed hundreds of volunteer teams to help clean out, repair, and rebuild thousands of damaged homes. It raised $163 million for Hurricane Katrina relief.

@realSellers1 @Pontifex Leaving this here even though you’re likely too fucking dumb to be able to read it. stories.catholiccharitiesusa.org/called-to-serv…

@Earl_West_MN @ArrowFilmsVideo @JohnDukeWayne Peter Bogdanovich not only gave him a place to stay, but put $$$ into THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WIND. Sinatra put money into DON QUIXOTE. Several well-known friends acted for little or no money to help him. Lucy & Desi funded FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH. Desi tried to salvage IT'S ALL TRUE.

@Wellesnetcom @ArrowFilmsVideo @JohnDukeWayne ... a place to stay, but no money. He was probably the most helpful of all of the directors who still plaudit him today. A lot of gyrating and grandstanding nonsense. A bunch of cowards, from what I can deduce.

Question for fans of THE SHOOTIST and John Wayne. I have the @ArrowFilmsVideo blu-ray and it was 99% perfect — except for ridiculously heavy grain in the scene where he confronts Ron Howard in the barn over selling his horse. Is this true of all copies? @JohnDukeWayne #johnwayne

@tim_everitt Honestly, I don't now why I didn't to this years ago!

Thrilled to debut a webpage dedicated to the lost cut of Orson Welles’ THE MAGNIFICENT AMBERSONS. It features a screenplay-style format of the 131-minute edit, as well as a PDF of the RKO cutting continuity. Also, photos & storyboards of deleted scenes. bit.ly/4nA8Dk7

@Luigi_Reyes22 I may add more stills from the deleted scenes in the days ahead.

@LasVegasCounsel I feel he captured the sound of studio version rather well.

@MavrocksGirl It's touching that people are so fond of your dad's memory. However, this reboot won't erase his work and it may prompt a younger generation to seek out the original.

Seriously, I'm trying to be patient with some of the "comments" on the NEW ROCKFORD FILES however, have you ever thought to reserve your harsh judgment until you see it first?
This is my father's legacy & I could not be more pleased with how it turned out!

@Wellesnetcom I don’t know how to feel about this.
I hate AI. But I also despise the way that movie was butchered by cowardly studio reps.
English

@NewPopLit Actually, the original Welles version deviates from the Tarkington book.
English

@yogoldsmith There is a cutting continuity, which is a 131-minute, shot-by-shot written record of Orson Welles’s original, unreleased version, which was cut to 88 minutes by RKO.
English

@Wellesnetcom I’ve been curious if they’re using a script that contained all the deleted scenes or if they’re inventing them whole cloth by guessing what they might have been based on the book? Is there an actual original script or was that lost to time as well?
