Ed Miliband now is accused of “covering up” official evidence and data showing his Net Zero plan will increase bills. Before and during the general election, Labour promised to cuts bills by up to £300, the documents he has hidden show the opposite. A dishonest government.

Between 2014 and 2021, China emitted more CO2 in eight years than the UK has since the industrial revolution in 1750, more than 270 years ago. China already produces around 35% of global emissions. And in 2025, they ramped up coal production for the ninth year in a row, hitting almost 5 billion tons. Meanwhile, Britain shut down its last coal power plant in 2024, has wiped out thousands of jobs and has made its energy the most expensive in the world. UK emissions are under 1% of the global total, yet Britons are told, among other things, to cut cattle by 22% by 2035 and 40% by 2050. China expands as Britain sacrifices. This is the game here.

For all those people out there that begrudge pensioners receiving a measly pension, they still pay Council Tax, pay for food, heating & other bills. Illegal migrants pay for nothing. Why don’t you begrudge this? Why do you begrudge elderly people when they’ve paid taxes all their lives but don’t begrudge unknown people who’ve paid nothing. Why?

Never forget that in 2003 Keir Starmer won the case that gave illegal migrants access to UK benefits. Twenty three years later, we’re living in the chaos he created.

Remeber when Keir Starmer told us there was a £22bn black hole in the accounts ? He knew this was a lie when he said it and so did his chancellor Reeves. They just wanted to financially hit the pensioners. Who voted for these people ?

Germany built one of the largest wind and solar fleets on Earth. It dismantled its nuclear power stations and retired its coal, with the promise that green energy would power its future. The country spent billions transitioning. Then winter arrived, and "Dunkelflaute" hit - the dark windless dead zone. Wind and solar fell to barely 5% of demand. The grid staggered. And Germany was forced to fire up old coal plants it said had closed forever, and import expensive nuclear from France. This is the physics politicians fail to mention, and a point many people still fail to grasp. When the wind dies and the sun sets, renewables disappear. And the only way the grid survives, the only reason countless millions don't freeze to death, is thanks to oil, coal, nuclear and gas.

No one should be surprised but what he left out is that this turbine costs an estimated $50-80 million to build and install. It only produces power 35-45% of the time because wind is intermittent. Its output degrades 12-16% over its 20-25 year lifespan. It requires hundreds of tons of steel, concrete, fiberglass, and rare earth minerals mined largely in China (his favorite country). The other 55-65% of the time you need backup power, which comes from natural gas. And it exists only because of massive government subsidies. A natural gas plant of the same 26MW capacity costs $26-39 million, produces more than double the effective output, runs on demand 24 hours a day regardless of weather, and lasts 30-40 years. Half the price. Double the output. No weather dependency. No subsidies required. But this was never about the environment. If it were, you would care that rare earth mining for wind turbines devastates landscapes across China and Africa, that thousands of birds and bats are killed annually by turbine blades, that the blades themselves are non-recyclable fiberglass rotting in landfills, and that natural gas produces half the emissions of coal with none of these problems. You ignore all of this because environmentalism was never your goal. It is your vehicle. The destination is what it has always been: government control of energy production, which means government control of the economy, which is socialism. Rand identified this decades ago. The green movement is not a scientific movement. It is a political one, and its target is not pollution. It is capitalism.

The World's largest Wind Turbine 26MW. In its lifetime it will produce the same energy as burning 750,000 tons of coal. That's 44,118 truck loads. And that's just 1 Wind Turbine.

The UK sits on vast North Sea reserves, yet instead of treating energy security as a national priority, we’re choosing higher bills, higher dependency, and lower growth. Look at Norway. They didn’t moralise their resources, they monetised them. Oil and gas revenues were channelled into the Norwegian Sovereign Wealth Fund, now worth over $1.5 trillion. We, meanwhile, import energy at inflated global prices while leaving domestic supply in the ground. Every serious country exploits its natural advantages. Why aren’t we?

30 years of loyalty. Three decades of turning up, doing her job, serving her community. Jane Pilborough saw a teenager stuffing food into his pockets and did what most people would do she stepped in. No security. No help. Just instinct. She stepped in. She ended up on the floor, injured… The thief ran off… And Morrisons sacked her. Not the shoplifter. Not the system that failed her but her. Morrisons said she put the company’s “reputation” at risk. Another Morrisons worker punished for trying to stop theft. This is how loyalty is repaid, what’s the point anymore especially when you have your whole life destroyed. What kind of message does that send to every honest worker out there?

Ed Miliband has been quiet while Keir Starmer takes the headlines, but this is what he comes back with? Banning tumble dryers, seriously? At a time when the economy is struggling and energy security is a real issue, this is the priority? Not maximising North Sea oil, not scaling small modular reactors from 3 to 20, but micromanaging household appliances. This is exactly the kind of small, performative policymaking that misses the bigger picture entirely.

Fun fact on the climate, according to climate change models (If CO2 Is heating the world up) the UK emissions, after 30 YEARS, it would have increased global temps by 0.005 degrees Centigrade (so small it can't be measured) Tell me, why do we have a nett zero agenda again?
