*Day 3* of Init is here, and today we’re thrilled to introduce Dev Keys. Dev Keys are special, temporary keys you can set on your Appwrite SDK for more control and freedom while developing. Unlike API keys, Dev Keys expire on a predetermined date - making them safe for development. Dev Keys allow you to bypass any API rate limits that are designed to protect your users or any CORS restrictions, so you can basically have a lot more freedom, flexibility, and faster development time to get to a working prototype.

Huge kudos to @WenYuGe1 for designing this feature. Great balance between security and usability. Secure by default, without being a pain throughout development.

I legit feel like☝️that's the expectation someone has for themselves entering this field if they spend too much time on X/LinkedIn. You can be an average software engineer who builds average things. It's fine, you're still relevant if you don't tick those boxes.
