You can hire a cleaning robot for $30/hour now. @taurobots sent Chelsea, Elon and Tony. They have six Wi-Fi antennas for hair, questionable knife discipline, and more enthusiasm that a young kid on his first day at work. Would you hire them?

@taurobots I watched the rest of Chelsea's first day on the job. She met the minivan door, the refrigerator and a suspicious number of kitchen knives. Full video: youtu.be/zbVig2bn2yY

This is what I care most about household robots: after cleaning the toilet, they’d better wash their hands before serving me food.

@iamtomnash The limits to AI are the human imagination turbocharged by AI. I see little limits there.

Everyone is arguing about AI stocks being overpriced. Wrong debate. The market is treating AI like it’s a zero sum game, where one company’s win has to come from someone else’s loss. That’s not how this works folks. For the first time in history, humanity is building an industry with virtually infinite demand. It’s hard for humans to grasp that concept since they have never seen it before. Every time AI gets cheaper, faster, and smarter, we don’t consume less. We invent ten new things to do with it. More agents. More workflows. More software. More compute. More infrastructure. This isn’t a bigger slice of the same pie. The pie is growing. The recent AI selloff is a massive opportunity if you have patience and long term mindset.

Is there a Kalshi market for this actually being a small person in a suit who is quite good at imitating a robot?

Today, we’re launching Tau’s humanoid cleaning service in San Francisco at $30 per hour. Access is initially invite-only as we scale operations. If you don’t have an invite yet, join the waitlist at tau-robotics.com. All footage is shown at 1× speed. Each humanoid is jointly controlled by a human operator and AI.

Just got Starlink internet beamed down to me at Glacier Point - 7,214 feet up in Yosemite with Half Dome staring back at me. High-speed internet in one of the most unreal spots on Earth.

Quick PSA to those daily impressed by robotics “physical AI” demos. It’s easier than it looks. Does the gui look familiar? That because it’s what Claude makes for everyone who spends 30 minutes and 3 prompts on a demo. This one dances to music it hears from the computer mic.
