At 12-13, focus on strength and athleticism! All the travel ball in the world is not going to make you great, in fact it will probably be overuse. Start spending time in the weight room of course being conscious of not lifting too heavy. Focus on development, play multiple sports!

you are not “stuck” for 3 or 4 years. - Lastly, you learn to grind. You certainly do in pro ball as well, but the early AM weights and the late night classes. Balancing these activities teach you about life and time management.

Pros of going straight to draft out of HS: - If your dream is to play in the MLB, it’s hard to turn down an opportunity to chase your dream. You're immediately positioned to have a faster path to the MLB. Getting drafted out of High School is the quickest way to reach the MLB..

@FoulTerritoryTV @Ken_Rosenthal I played baseball at the college level. There r days when u walk to the plate and just feel tired & don’t want to lift the bat. My guess taking steroids u could feel really good/strong every time you walked up. That’s why he was able to hit more HRs
