@adamconover While you’re listening, I can let you know why I don’t listen to your podcast. It’s the way ads are incorporated into the show. It comes off as hypocritical when you critique capitalism and then jump immediately into an ad. Just say, “we’ll be right back” to make it clear.

@UbisoftSupport Any plan to update Assassin’s Creed Shadows so that the inverted Y control scheme affects only the camera and not the map controls? It’s wild that this is suddenly an issue in this game when it hasn’t been in any other games in the series.

@modretro I got one of these from GameStop and it plays games fine, but sound doesn’t work at all. Should I exchange it as defective? I tried toggling silent mode and it does nothing.

My feed was actually pretty good, but I’m tired of seeing all of the replies from nothing but bad faith actors, engagement farmers, and bots. Turning off notifications and moving X off of the Home Screen. See you in the Skies.

@BriannaWu My wife and I are parents of two kids and would never disown our kids no matter what happens. To guess why someone would, I’d say it has nothing to do with the kids and is just pride on the part of the parents. They want to feel like they raised their kids with their values.

I know a lot of parents follow me on Twitter. Can I ask a question that is really honest and vulnerable?
I get the sense of being a parent forms an unshakable bond, and most parents would gladly die for their child.
So, why did my family disown me when I came out as trans?
Why are so many parents willing to go to extremes to deliver the best for their child. But mine couldn’t accept me following through on something I told them I was from childhood?
And we just that fundamentally unlovable and disturbing to you?

Here is the truth. There is a genuine divide in the trans community.
Integrationists like myself want to assimilate into society and not cause trouble to alleviate a medical condition.
The other half, bored straight people, the actually goal is to be part of a victimized subculture DESIGNED to be politically unsellable. The extreme stances, the shockingly inappropriate approach to dealing with gender diverse children - THAT IS THE POINT.
They aren’t interested in civil rights. They want to dare normal people to stand up to them. And act hurt when we do.
These objectives are absolutely incompatible.

I never retweeted anything from Elon before because I’m a game designer, but I very much agree with this statement. The problem with DEI isn’t in its principle, but in the way it’s being implemented. Years before DEI became a thing, we had Quentin Tarantino, a white director, make a movie about a badass black dude who buddied up with a white dude. My point being: Just let artists be artists and DEI will happen naturally. Ultimately, a good message has to come from the heart and not from indoctrination.
