You should play Crimson Desert if you really like the pacing and exploration aspects of Red Dead Redemption 2. Just don't go expecting the same narrative focus. It has none.
If you're the type of person who likes to play RDR2 for the exploration, if you like to "live in the world" and take it slow, like those people who do jobs, hunt, bounties and stuff and take their time, if you like to greet people on the streets and you intentionally walk slowly just to act like a normal person, you're gonna have a blast with the game.

@vicious696 Sadly this is what this person says to himself in the mirror regularly.

@dxrnell Dude, no ones gonna hold for a while. Complete culture shift. Scarcity mentality has taken over. There is no hope for the trenches atm. It will come back, but no time soon. We just saw a 100m penguin runner drop to 4m. I haven't seen a penguin post in weeks. All momentum gone.

The only reason memecoins reached life changing numbers in previous cycles is because people held
Not for minutes
Not for hours
For weeks and months
That patience is what let coins build traction
New buyers saw a chart that was holding and felt safe enough to enter
Which brought more buyers
Which pushed it higher
That flywheel is completely dead right now
Every coin gets drilled within minutes
Nobody holds anything long enough for it to gain momentum
And then everyone wonders why nothing runs like it used to
You killed the thing that made this work
And people will say “it’s a bear market, nothing’s going to run anyway”
That’s not true
Bear market doesn’t mean there are no buyers
It means there are fewer
And those fewer buyers are being more careful about where they put their money
They’re looking for coins that feel safe
Charts that aren’t dumping to zero within the first hour
Communities that are actually holding
The demand is there
It’s just waiting for something worth buying into
And every time you dump a coin within 5 minutes of buying it you’re destroying the thing those buyers are looking for
If people held
Charts would stabilise
New buyers would feel safe entering
More buyers means higher prices
Higher prices attract more attention
That’s how it snowballs
That’s how coins go from nothing to hundreds of millions
That’s how this market has always worked
But instead we have a market where nobody trusts anything because everything goes to zero
And that’s not because memecoins are broken
It’s because the people trading them won’t let them work
The people flipping in and out think they’re winning
Maybe short term
But they’re spending nearly every hour of the day doing it, and even with the trenches in its current state they are STILL being outperformed by the one person who waited for the right coin and held it through
This generation of traders have zero understanding of delayed gratification
And the worst part is they genuinely believe they’re making the smart decision
And for now it’s working
They’re making money doing it
But they’re building a habit they won’t be able to break when it matters
The trade that changes your life will look exactly like every other trade at the start
And they’ll sell it at 2x like they always do
While the person who never conditioned themselves that way holds it to 100x
The concept is simple
Would you rather take $5K right now or wait 3 months and take $50K
Everyone says they’d wait
Almost nobody actually does
Because waiting means watching your position go red some days and not selling
It means watching others take profit while you sit there
It means trusting your decision when everything around you is telling you to bail
That’s the hardest thing to do in this market
And it’s the only thing that’s ever consistently made people rich in it

@gainzy222 You gotta meditate when you're hungry. Befriend it and let it stick around for a while. It's allowed to be there.

@GordonGekko Thank you for helping me feel so much better about waiting for a lower bottom.

Do I believe that AI is writing Asha Sharma's posts? No.
Do I believe that an experienced gamer on the Xbox team may be helping her sound more like a "real gamer" with her social replies? Yes.
Do I think it's a bad idea for her to try and fake this? YES.

If you’re not unc you can’t possibly understand how trash video games are now compared to how they were during the ps2/dreamcast/xbox era

Hey @elonmusk--Can you write a counter scenario. The one where "AI makes us all incredibly rich". Because that vision which you believe is "most likely" is starting seem absurd.

This is important, so I’m writing it down.
I am Japanese.
When I go to another country, I enter only with that country’s permission.
That permission is, in fact, me being granted a privilege.
If I break the rules of that country, that privilege will be revoked.
This is completely obvious and natural.
It is not a human rights issue.😑
