Our latest research at @shiva_fdn, conducted in collaboration with @WilberforceHull and @WestMidsASN, highlights the critical need to integrate cultural competency into support services for modern slavery survivors. This work was made possible through funding from @SlaveryPEC and @ahrcpress. By building trust and making systems more accessible, we can develop key strategies to more effectively combat exploitation. This article offers valuable insights into the need for enhanced approaches to tackle this global issue, providing essential strategies to strengthen our responses. Discover how these strategies can lead to more effective solutions👇 🔗modernslaverypec.org/resources/cult…

We are excited to announce that @SlaveryPEC has been awarded continuation funding from @ahrcpress, with @UniofOxford being our new host from April 2024. The continuation funding enables the Centre to build upon our work so far and transition to long-term sustainability beyond AHRC funding. The Centre will be part of @OxHumanities at Oxford, @BonaveroIHR, @LivUni & @WilberforceHull will continue as core partners, and the @BinghamCentre at @BIICL will continue to be a collaborative partner.
