We try to acknowledge the junior clubs whenever we can when celebrating the achievements of the girls and boys from our region.

NAB League rightly gets plenty of credit for its fine development work. A player 'recruited from the Jets,' may have spent 3-4 years there.
But to get to that level, they may have spent 8-9yrs learning to play at their local club/s, which we as media need to acknowledge more.

@PaulAmy375 And let's be sure to also acknowledge & celebrate our draftees' junior clubs, all of whom will have had at least as much (if not greater) influence on their overall development than their NAB team, which is the finishing school for players already considered potentially elite.
