Congratulations to 2B, The Hub and the 401 children who were in school every day this first week of 2026! You are superstars! 🌟

Looking back at our sporting superstars from this term. We have had teams compete at the @HullActiveSch cross-country, and panathlon events. We ended the term with 8 of our year 5 pupils starting their journeys to become sport ambassador’s for our school. A big well done to all!

Year 5 were lucky enough to welcome MP Emma Hardy for the afternoon where they were able to ask some thoughtful questions. Could a career in politics be on the cards? Watch this space!

Year 3 have been creating art work by torch light. Their art pieces have been done in charcoal and they really showed the mood of the subject. #WheelerArt

Wow! Look at the amazing pumpkins that our gardening club have grown this year. We can't wait to harvest them. How many can you see hiding in the leaves? I wonder what we will use them for?

Congratulations to our nursery children who achieved the best attendance in school this week with 99.2%! This is a fantastic start to school for our youngest learners and will give them the very best start at Wheeler. ⭐️

Our whole school attendance is 97.5% this week. We have smashed our target and we are so proud of everyone for making such a positive start to school! ⭐️

We are delighted to announce that we have achieved the School Games PLATINUM Mark Award for the 2024/25 academic year! Thank you to everyone who supported our children to access clubs and competitions last year. ⭐️

School is closed this Monday and Tuesday but we open again on Wednesday.
