I appreciate it lol, but I don’t understand this criticism that tendies is a “garbage meme.” It seems as viable as any meme imo, with less competition for mindshare because it doesn’t fit cleanly in category like “dog” or “cat”, and it goes beyond wsb into 4chan and internet culture in general. People love to say “tendies” who aren’t even meaning it in the stock trading sense.

I struggle to allocate money to slop that I don't believe has good fundamentals. every robinhood meme I've seen is a wsb/gme derivative. not saying I'm right, but I'll end up losing all my money trying to left curve and just blast shitters - aping now feels severely late to a very frontran new L2, the time to ape was like 2 weeks ago. I have spent the entire year being EL on sol memes, I don't feel like doing the same on a new chain either. glhf bro, I wouldn't know where to even start on robinhood.

been lowkey having fun playing around in the crypto/memes space lately and feel like I have gotten to understand the space and the way the market moves relatively quick considering my marketing background I’ve seen a lot of people in this space and their takes on “how to onboard retail” So I wanna say this as someone who doesn’t know memecoins super well but understands the retail market extremely well, I wanna tell you… you guys will never onboard retail unless you 1. place the shit in front of their face 2. make memecoins fun again Think of the 2024 memecoin era (I wasn’t really involved) but I still consumed it enough from the sidelines to know that shit was EVERYWHERE. also, feel free to correct me if I’m wrong but all the coins running were REAL MEMES Now it seems more like it’s become so dependent on taking bets on weather or not a specific face/name will back a coin Not to mention how PVP it is aswell. Retail wants to hold shit, bagwork and watch the chart slowly go up. Right now they enter a coin, lose once or twice and immediately give up Again, back to 2024. Retail was fucking bagworkingggg all over TikTok posts, comments, lives etc. They bought into a coin and instantly became part of a community that felt exciting and blissful to them People and markets thrive off of emotions Think of it like Fortnite. As the skill gap became greater and greater. The game became less and less fun to the average player That’s exactly what’s happening and what’s missing here. It’s even funny I’m writing this cause technically I kinda am the retail market to most of u crypto guys reading this and sure maybe I don’t understand the technical side as well as you guys but I think I have the right mindset going into it I’m here to buy stupid coins, have fun with it and sure hopefully make some money

@I4NFTS I personally do it because everyone is multi walleting and farming and I wanted to try and show transparency in what I talk about (I don't have copy traders or any motion on coins at all in the slightest) but has been net negative for me so I will probably stop.

Just because fomo exists doesn’t mean you have to publicly trade. Frankly I think it’s retarded to do it. You either then have a slew of copy traders only buying coins the top KOLs do (logjam, wrld, etc) or you have KOLs that buy and everyone nukes (Marcell). Fomo normalized public trading but it’s actually made the space a lot shittier and more toxic if you ask me. It was better when you just saw people talk about a coin on the timeline and you didn’t know how much they owned I don’t have any interest in doing it and I won’t ever do it
