In case you’re wondering why CEXs aren’t stopping the massive and painfully obvious scam pump and dump of $LAB: OKX, Gate, KuCoin, Mirana (venture arm of Bybit), GSR as their market maker: they’re all part of it. They’re sitting on a 323x of their early investment right now. So they have every incentive to look the other way, or worse, to actively contribute. These are the institutions that should be leading this industry forward. Instead they’re squeezing it dry every single day and wondering why there’s nothing left to grow.

LIVE NOW - The $200 Billion Shadow Market Behind Anthropic's Stock | Dio Casares Anthropic's secondary market is tens of billions of dollars deep, stacked with SPVs on top of SPVs charging 10% fees plus carry, and almost entirely opaque. @diogenes of @patagon breaks down how it actually works: - which deals Anthropic blesses and which get cease-and-desists, - why fake share certificates show up in 10-20% of executed deals, - what tokenized equities and pre-IPO perps actually represent, - and the mess of lawsuits and stuck shares coming when Anthropic finally IPOs. Enjoy. -------------- TIMESTAMPS 0:00 Intro 0:40 What is Going on in Secondary Markets? 7:03 How Anthropic Secondary Markets Unfold 14:51 Anthropic’s Secondaries Social Elite 19:00 Emerging SPV Structure 21:51 Accidental Frauds? 27:04 After IPO Consequences 35:13 Private Market Lessons 38:21 Patagon Markets 43:54 Tokenized Perps 44:57 Closing Thoughts

Can’t remember where I saw it but ‘it’s all a momentum game’ is the most accurate thing I’ve heard about crypto. Reflexivity and memetics are the actual engine. The fundamentals, the MCap, the tokenomics - none of it matters until momentum decides it does. Price goes up, narrative gets stronger. Narrative gets stronger, more buyers. More buyers, price goes up. The loop runs until it doesn’t. It’s not that fundamentals don’t matter, they don’t until they do. The real game is finding something genuinely good, then figuring out when the right crowd is going to discover it. That’s when momentum kicks in.

Watch expert stereotypes every luxury watch owner Rolex: “High school dropout” Richard Mille: “Very insecure” AP: “First money made. Investment banking. Already has a Rolex or just skipped the queue and went AP because he loves watching YouTube videos and people wearing APs… for sure loves hip-hop” Patek Philippe: “Extremely classy, well-dressed, serious, very thoughtful” Hublot: “Very easy to be influenced and absolutely does not care” Tudor: “Someone that’s not really that fussed about what people think of watches or someone at the beginning of their watch collecting journey” Grand Seiko: “Someone that is just against everything. Wants to be on the opposite side of whatever’s mainstream” Casio: “You don’t care. You’re just wearing a watch because it’s functional” Zenith: “Someone that actually does their research, is very considerate and that watch was never an impulse buy” JLC: “Someone that loves heritage, doesn’t want to spend the money for a Patek Philippe but still wants something historically important”

.@chjokka, @sized_in and I are doing a shared FOMO challenge from the same account. Each of us loads ~$1,000 and only trades our own allocation. So if there’s $3k in the wallet, you don’t have $3k to play with - you have your $1k. Lose $200? You’re down to $800. No touching the others’ stack. If we all have confluence on the same token, then yeah, everyone can ape. We’ll probably make a shared TG / X account to post trades, recaps, PnL, fumbles The fun part is you won’t know for sure who made each trade but you’ll probably be able to tell as we all have completely different styles. Think this can be cool af. Let's cook

i don’t know @trading_axe personally, but i am pretty sure this screenshot is REAL i’ve been following his ufc bets for a while, unlike most kols here he always gives predictions BEFOREHAND and owns his calls almost no influencer here dares to make predictions BEFOREHAND, they merely claim that they called it afterwards and omit their wrong calls and also most influencers show percentage gain instead of the absolute value you need to understand something. no one is 100% right. no one is 90% right. if you are 70% right you are already excellent and then having the balls to make your predictions ahead of events is an extremely rare sight on ct lastly, i regularly play 10k hands on blackjack. i always start with 1k and 2k hands but very quickly (like within 10 min) increase my gambling bet size to 10k. you just don’t feel anything if you bet like a woman. i have placed 70k bets on sports. trading axe is richer and way more professional in these things than me so i don’t even find it surprising to see him bet big on things he considers pretty certain. he also has sponsorship deals so he is often playing with real but semi free money, so it’s even more likely this is a regular real bet from him lastly, wizard of soho was the biggest prostitute kol during memecoins, seeing him call out people is like kook or sahir calling out people, makes no sense
Wizard Of SoHo (🍷,🍷)@wizardofsoho

This was a fake larp bet and he still lost Absolute comedy. I have seen plebs in my life but I haven’t seen such poor larp plebs. After losing all his money shorting the bottom and being the worst investor and trader he resorted to shilling low cap memes like $spike and rugged his following with other failed larp traders and then shilled scam casinos Now fake rainbet bets Jesus lord delete your account dude.
