I've said it before and I'll say it again: being a U.S. citizen is a blessing and privilege. That's exactly why I introduced the BACK OFF Act. Foreign criminals have been cheating the system for years, sending their citizens here to give birth on U.S. soil so their children automatically become American citizens.
This is a national security threat, and it ends now. My bill makes birth tourists deportable, penalizes countries that refuse to cooperate, and creates real criminal penalties for the rings that run these schemes. I fight for the sanctity of America's borders, and I always will.

I’m tired of the Senate’s evergreen excuse for inaction: “We don’t have 60 votes.” There are ways around the 60-vote cloture standard. It’s time to start using them. And stop disingenuously characterizing any refusal to do so as virtuous or conservative. Share if you agree.
