@jacobmparis a lot of know it alls in your replies but yes, you can’t pay at any time during your first statement until the pay period even with a balance due, afterwards you can pay it anytime you want with 24-72 hour processing intervals afterwards

I contacted Amex and they have a special case for the first 30 days of the account, after which everything should proceed as expected

had a guy tell me his cold email "isn't working" i asked him how many he sends per day "about 200" i almost threw my phone 200 emails a day ISN’T cold outreach. it's a hobby. let me tell you what actual volume looks like: 400-500 email accounts. rotating. warmed. ready to go. 10,000+ sends per day. ~200-250 positive replies. every single day. that's 10-15 calls booked daily. 300+ calls per month. simple one-liner offer. basic follow-up sequence. warm call anyone who responds. this isn't some advanced operation. this is baseline. this is table stakes. but you're over here with 15 inboxes and a "hyper-personalized" first line wondering why you booked 2 calls this month here's the math that'll make you sick: booking rate at scale is roughly 0.1-0.15% that means for every 1,000 emails you need to expect 1-1.5 calls you want 300 calls/month? you need ~200,000 emails/month that's 6,500+ per day minimum you're sending 200 and crying about "market saturation" the market isn't saturated. your volume is embarrassing. the guys winning at cold email aren't smarter than you. they just accepted the real numbers. they stopped asking "how do i get better response rates" and started asking "how do i send more mail" because even if your offer is mediocre, volume covers for it every email is a lottery ticket. you're buying 200 tickets and wondering why you never win. meanwhile someone else bought 10,000 and hits every single week. 500 inboxes is not crazy. it's infrastructure. 10k emails/day is not spam. it's math. people massively underestimate how much volume is actually required to make this work consistently they send 50 emails and check their inbox 8 times before noon then spend 3 hours on twitter asking for "copy feedback" you don't need copy feedback. you need to 50x your output. go buy 400 inboxes today. get them warming. set up your sequences. then never complain about lead gen again because you finally did the real work
