Hey @WhirlpoolCorp, if the protective film on your appliance takes the customer 2 hours to remove, you’re doing it wrong. You guys are smart enough to build appliances, surely you can figure out plastic film. How about respecting and valuing your customers’ precious time.

@WhirlpoolCorp @whirlpoolusa What gives? We used whirlpool inside pass and waited over 20 days to get our appliances delivered today. We just got them cancelled on account of weather, and now we can't get another delivery date until 12/29?

In 2023, I bought a @WhirlpoolCorp washing machine. It has never worked properly. It's strange because for over 20 years all my appliances are Whirpool.  I always buy the Home Depot protection plans, the five-year one. When I bought it, they told me that the protection plan will start when the first year of the manufacturer's warranty finalized. The washing machine broke down six months after I bought it, and again this year. I wanted to make sure if 2025 was the first year of the plan and they told me no, it was the second, because the first year counts. I explained that this was impossible because then I would be paying for a year I won't use, since the first year IS the warranty. The plan says that they would replace the protected item after the third repair, but when I asked about that, @Allstate told me no because the first one doesn't count since it "was under warranty"—🤔🤔 Regarding the second repair under the protection plan, a technician came, identified the problem, and parts were ordered. When the parts arrived, @Allstate contacted me to tell me to hire a technician, as they would reimburse me. The whole point of the plan is to avoid upfront costs. They told me that, due to the INCONVENIENCE, in addition to the reimbursement, they would pay an extra $100. A month ago, they reimbursed me, but I haven't received the $100 they offered. 
If this is how it's going to be, next time I'll reconsider buying a @WhirlpoolCorp appliance from @HomeDepot and the Protection Plan from @Allstate. 🤷🏻‍♀️🙄

@WhirlpoolCorp @whirlpool_india I recently purchased a top-load washing machine for installation at PIN 110047, Delhi. Your technician informed me that tap installation is not included in the installation service. I request an official written and signed confirmation from your authorized India team stating this policy. Until this written communication is provided, I will not allow the technician to proceed with the limited installation (only connecting inlet and outlet pipes). Both Mr. Mudit from the local service center and Ms. Geeta Gautam from customer service have refused to provide this confirmation, and responsibility is being shifted between teams. Please treat this as urgent. If clarity is not provided, I will be compelled to take necessary legal action as per consumer rights. @jagograhakjago

So I need this from your India team in written and with authorized signature. I would not allow your technician to just come up with installation work (so called) to connect inlet and outlet pipe. This matter is very serious from sonsumer point of view, so I will be seeking legal action against this. During the installation process, your technician informed me that installing a tap does not fall under the scope of the washing machine installation service. I require an official written confirmation, duly signed by an authorized representative of your India team, clearly stating that tap installation is not included in your standard washing machine installation procedure. Until this written and signed communication is provided, I will not permit the technician to proceed with what is being presented as “installation,” which currently only includes connecting the inlet and outlet pipes. As a consumer, I take this matter very seriously. I have already been in contact with the local service center representative Mr. Mudit and Customer Service Executive Ms. Geeta Gautam, both of whom refused to provide the requested written statement. Additionally, there has been continuous passing of responsibility between the customer care team and the local service center, which is unacceptable. If your team believes that I do not have any legal avenues, I would like to clarify that I fully intend to pursue this issue through appropriate legal channels to ensure accountability for the inconvenience and lack of clarity caused. I request an immediate written response with an authorized signature confirming your company's policy on tap installation during washing machine setup. @jagograhakjago
