Wow what an amazing start back to school. Rowan have been investigating clues to discover our new book! This morning we role played the scenes from our clues. I’m so impressed with the expression and creativity! #WhitegateEnglish @SchoolWhitegate

The great three little pig experiment! 🐷🐷🐷🐺🏡 Rowan have been experimenting with different materials in our classroom to build a house to keep the pigs safe from the huff and puff of the big bad wolf! @SchoolWhitegate

Rowan have been hard at work this week creating their D&T projects. We recycled old Tops and practised our fine monitor skills to tie the bottom and decorate using fabric crayons. @SchoolWhitegate

To finish our day we had a final look at more modern toys made of metal and plastic. What a super day! @SchoolWhitegate

After our lunch we started our workshop making our very own peg dolls! @SchoolWhitegate

Wow! What a fantastic day we have had at the Weaver Hall Museum. We started our day looking at toys from the past! @SchoolWhitegate

Today’s curious question… How can we reuse and recycle paper? Using our scrap paper Rowan had a go at making their own paper. It was a messy job but so exciting to watch how it changes. We’re letting it dry over night and checking the results in the morning! @SchoolWhitegate

It’s Science week! We started the week off by answering the curious question, what makes great teamwork? Birch and Rowan had to draw, using one felt tip and four pegs. Our first drawing was silent and then we worked in a team to make it perfect. @WhitegateBirch @SchoolWhitegate

For our Christian value this term Rowan and Birch have been spreading the love! What do we love about each other. What a beautiful afternoon 💗 @WhitegateBirch @SchoolWhitegate

What an end of term! It’s been filled with so much learning. We’ve been looking at materials in science testing if things float or sink, comparing number bonds to 10 and 20 in maths, looking at pitch in music and so much more. Have a lovely half term! @SchoolWhitegate ⭐️⭐️⭐️
