@JonoCC @dresserman Point taken, however when I worked at ASDA back in the 90's some, not all back stock from pallets was transferred onto roll cages to decrease warehouse volume... Again pump trucks had to be located and shared around, decreasing staff efficiency.

@Whitelabelhrp @dresserman Minor point there being that unlike Tesco, Asda primarily uses pallets for replenishment not roll cages so tend to have a far higher number pump trucks in store.

@dresserman And you need multiple pump trucks to move them, where staff have to share them, where as with roll cages you don’t and staff are more productive as they are not locating a pump truck being used by another member of staff

@dresserman Tesco did this about 10 - 15 years ago when I worked there. They switched back to shelving within a couple of years. One reason was the issues these caused in warehouses, as you got less stock per sq metre in comparison to stock on taller roll cages

@MikeCarlton01 Newsflash - if he knew anything at all he would know they were never allies - the UK, Canada, France, and most of the EU have leached off the US for decades in a one way alliance. Now they are being called out for their cowardice and weakness there's alot of tears...and suckers

@moving_charlie Wouldn't it be overpaying by 53/54% if the house sold for £500k... or is my maths incorrect? The price drop would be 35% if sold for £325k.. Could even be more if the seller settled on a lower offer.

This is a great example of why agents overvalue: "We can get you £500,000." 3 months later: "We recommend you drop the price to £360,000" 2 weeks later: "That's not enough, let's try £325,000". 2 months later: "Great! We sold your house for you and got our fee!" They don't care what they have to say to get you to sign their contract to begin with. Once you've signed, you're stuck with them and they get their fee, even though they've let you down and missed the market. Shameful.
Legalponzischeme@taxfraudhunter

#kent #ashford #propertycrash the true price of properties when it needs selling. In other words, those accepting paying £500k for a house are over paying by 30%. Below is a £500k (initial asking price) house sold for £325k (true market price) @moving_charlie @HousePriceMania

@FoxCricket England fan here. If you’re presented with a road, in England after a super dry month or so you bat first. The over arrogance of “we like to chase,” blinded them from doing the bloody obviously and bat first. Runs on the board versus tired bodies always wins

"IT ENDED UP MORE OF A SUBCONTINENT PITCH" 🤔 Ben Stokes has gone 2+ years since a Test ton and England is noticing. But his form isn't the only problem. Two years ago he wanted English pitches doctored to suit Bazball. Now he's complaining about them >> bit.ly/4eAu5RH

I don’t remember ever seeing a worse time for sellers to be listing new homes at record asking prices. There are more unsold homes for sale than at any time in the last 11 years. We’re hitting peak price standoff. The only bounce this spring is in seller delusion. 🤷🏻‍♂️

@DDC2 @Mike47w @LaCatholicState @moving_charlie Exactly if you had said “if Jaffa cakes dropped to £1 and Tescos own Jaffa cakes are £1 which would you buy?” You made the mistake of using houses in your example… and well the housing market works “differently” to other selling markets for some reason 🙄

@DDC2 @Mike47w @LaCatholicState @moving_charlie You can lead a donkey to water….. you are 100% correct this occurs in all selling markets. When the top prices drop, the lower prices do too. I’ve been telling people this for ages about house prices after the interest rates increases and the denial is staggering.

@Mike47w @LaCatholicState @moving_charlie Say ur 4 house semi is on sale for 600k. 5 bed detached house across the road is bigger and on sale for 750. They reduce to 600, same as urs. Buyers come to view urs and notice the bigger detached is the same price. U hear them ask the EA if they can view it tmw. What do you do?

Where's that -35% @moving_charlie? You're not joining the billionaires in spreading misinformation, now are you? 😉😜 Amanda Bryden, Head of Mortgages, Halifax, said: “UK house prices finished 2024 up +3.3% over the year, with the average house price £297,166. Prices fell back slightly in December, by -0.2%, following five consecutive monthly increases. Here's the link - halifax.co.uk/assets/pdf/dec…

"UK house prices ended 2024 on a strong footing, up 4.7% compared with December 2023, though prices were still just below the all-time high recorded in summer 2022. House prices increased by 0.7% month on month, after taking account of seasonal effects, following a 1.2% rise in November." Read the full piece here nationwide-intermediary.co.uk/-/media/nfi/do…

@DudeAdhd At least £3.50 - £4.00 has been spent on drinks. You’ve got pre packed chopped fruit and mushrooms which are the most expensive options. If you used you brain that shop could come in under £10

How does this add up to £17 at Tesco? All fresh stuff for tea and it comes to £17! It is near impossible for a poor family to buy fresh produce at Tesco! 🤬

@JonesRicha45502 @moving_charlie Did you download the pdf and read the data? Seasonally adjusted figures, from a company with a vested interest in selling mortgages and talking up the maket. Why do their figures need to be seasonally adjusted?

The base rate cut today will have a negligible, if any, effect on mortgage rates and won’t make any difference either way to the housing market. The industry clings to the false hope that it will change things but it won’t. Just like the last cut didn’t. Sorry.

@moving_charlie It's unreal how blind some of your haters are. Halifax are a company who has a vested interest in selling mortgages and talking up the housing market with their own monthly data. They consistently display seasonally adjusted data fuel their cause which your haters bite 🎣🎣🎣

The dipsticks are out in force jumping on the Halifax "NEAR RECORD HOUSE PRICES!" message. DISREGARD THE GUFF. Nationwide said the opposite to Halifax, that prices fell last month, and were up 2.5% not 4%. All it goes to show is how unreliably small their mortgage-only sample sizes are. It means nothing at a local level either, as it excludes all regional, tenure type, property type and market level variations. This messaging will only make sellers more unrealistic on price, leading to fewer homes selling, leading to fewer transactions and LESS MONEY FOR THE DIPSTICKS. Don't pump prices if you want more transactions, you dummies 😉🥰.
