We must act now if we want to meet our climate goals and scale up industrial decarbonisation. However, Government 2030 targets are approaching quickly and it's vital to think even further afield about the future of the industry post-2030 to achieve widespread deployment of CCUS.

We are happy to see government support for @CSkidmoreUK's Net Zero Review and expect a full response to the report later this year. The report emphasises the need for CCUS projects, like Whitetail Clean Energy, to help the UK decarbonise at scale.

A new technology brief from @UNECE presented at @COP27 highlights the importance for innovative CCUS technologies to help decarbonise the most significant CO2 emitting industries. Projects like Whitetail will be at the forefront of the UK's industrial decarbonisation strategy.

We are happy to see the new @IEA World Energy Outlook report commenting on the importance of CCUS to deliver deep emissions reductions. This technology is the only opportunity we have to achieve net zero across heavy industry.
