This may be a controversial take but I believe Shemar Stewart was judged far too harshly. He is only 22 years old and development was stunted due to injury. I think he will be far better than people think.

Sal Stewart’s average has plummeted over the last couple weeks He was sitting right around .300, and now he’s down to .250 Young guys are going to hit rough patches… that’s baseball. But getting him going again against Chicago feels just as important as winning the series

The crazy part about not picking up Myles Muprhy's 5th Year Option is that the Bengals have only declined that 3 times in their past. Cedric Ogbuehi, John Ross and Billy Price We're talking about the definition of Busts in Bengals history. Myles doesn't fit with them. Oh and those 3 combined to play 5 games for the Bengals in those 4th years after the option was declined. 3 for Ross 2 for Ogbuehi And Billy Price was traded for BJ Hill None of them did anything in their 4th year for Cincinnati.
