Congrats to the Sabres for clinching their first playoff berth since 2011.

@DLoesch @davepl1968 I was in third grade. My teachers were beside themselves after it happened. For a good six months (!!!), I followed the recovery efforts & investigations. I was nine years old. NINE.
But I guess I was mistaken & it’s all a “false memory.” Guess I’ll go back in my pod now.

99.9% of people who "experienced" the Challenger disaster saw it on replay and now remember it as live.
Almost NO ONE was watching. Everyone thinks they were. It's a fascinating collective false memory.

Anyone who experienced the Space Shuttle Challenger explosion, like I did, is probably a bit hesitant to get too excited about the Artemis II launch today. I truly hope our children don’t have to experience such tragedy. May the Universe welcome them and return them safely home 🙏

Comp update: Kirk Cousins will sign a five-year, $172 million deal with the Raiders that in reality is a one-year, fully-guaranteed $20 million deal that also contains a club option for two years at $80M. The Falcons will pay Cousins $8.7 million this season, the Raiders another $1.3 million and Las Vegas also agreed to pay its new QB a fully-guaranteed $10 million roster bonus on the third day of the 2027 new league year. And maybe most notably, it also sets another new mark: this will be the 11th straight NFL season in which Cousins’ contract will be fully guaranteed.
