Aside from the US, the only other two countries participating in the area of operation around the Strait of Hormuz are Pakistan and India... but only to escort their OWN ships. Both India and Pakistan sent in their warships to escort their own tankers, freighters, and cargo ships through the strait... meanwhile, the rest of the world won't lift a finger even for their own boats... just waiting for the US to clear the threat. How sad is it that India and Pakistan are doing more than the entire EU zone? It's just a damning reality of Europe's hollowed-out militaries and decades of deliberate free-riding. Europe has outsourced security to the US for 30+ years... and they won’t burn a single expensive missile or risk a sailor for their own tankers, but they’ll lecture us about “rules-based order.” The US doesn’t need the Hormuz trade route for oil for itself, yet it’s the only one willing to clear the minefields, drones, and coastal batteries so the global market doesn’t collapse.
