Reporter 🇺🇸 : Is the war really about Iran’s nuclear program? CHINA 🇨🇳 : “No it's all about oil.” Reporter: Why so? CHINA: “A warmongering Israel has nuclear weapons, but Iran — the oldest civilization — can’t have them. That’s America’s biggest double standard.” A slap in the face of global hypocrisy: Israel possesses a nuclear arsenal without accountability or oversight, while Iran is forbidden even from dreaming of defending itself. This is the ugly face of Western policy.

Oh they’re building those data centers whether communities want them or not. Landowners are cashing out, politicians are approving permits, and corporations are moving fast because MONEY is doing all the talking. Meanwhile this is the con of data centers:
• dirty water
• air pollution
• constant noise pollution
• higher energy bills
• overcrowded infrastructure
• local businesses getting pushed out But sure… tell us again how this is all for “innovation.” 🤨

Pro tip: Whenever your health insurance company denies your care, call and request to speak with the HIPAA compliance director. Then, ask them to provide the names, educational backgrounds, certifications, and medical credentials of all individuals involved in the denial of your claim. You’ll be amazed at how swiftly they reverse the denial. People claim that this tactic actually works. However, I believe we should be more concerned of these health insurance companies that are amassing millions of dollars in profits while denying patients essential care. To add a bit of flair, ask for the individual’s name, rank, and serial number, followed by the question: “Are you willing to accept full responsibility for the loss or irrevocable harm caused by your denial?” It’s time we take action and fight back.

Utah approved a data center so massive it's going to be more than twice the size of Manhattan It’s called The Stratus Project, it’s a AI data center campus in Box Elder County - The full project could cover over 40,000 acres, an area bigger than Manhattan - Total size will be around 62 square miles - The power demand is 3 gigawatts of electricity, roughly the output of multiple nuclear reactors - Environmental groups warn it could raise Utah's planet-heating pollution by nearly 50% - Estimates suggest the project's power systems could consume up to 16.6 billion gallons of water per year. (25,000 Olympic swimming pools) First let’s talk about power, it will actually use up to 9 GW of power. This is roughly double Utah’s current peak electricity demand. Only the first phase will use 3 GW Next let’s talk about water, Developers are now saying that they will use closed-loo dry (air-based) cooling systems to minimize consumption. But it’ll still use a lot of water This is bad news for water conservation. Utah is in drought conditions, the Great Salt Lake is shrinking. It’s visible and you can see it right now So why do we need this really, according to what I can find it’s going to be tied with defense contracts The data center will be tied to US defense priorities. It overlaps with Department of Defense areas and is advanced through Utah’s Military Installation Development Authority. Officials cite needs for energy resilience, secure computing power, and data storage for defense operations So this is a private data center but it’s not really a private data center…. Because it’ll be working with the government. One layer removed…

A Louisville eighth grader’s graduation speech is going viral after he called his school “f***ing ridiculous” on stage. Daniel Mattingly, a student council member at Stuart Academy, was selected to speak at his eighth-grade graduation Thursday morning. After teachers reportedly rejected his original speech which focused on personal trauma, oppression, and encouraging students to stand up for themselves as too negative, he took the podium anyway. In a surprise moment, the 8th grader told the crowd the school was “built on racism, sexism and homophobia,” adding, “This school is f***ing ridiculous. I encourage everyone here today to stand up for yourselves, even if it makes a scene.” Mattingly later said he wanted to speak from the heart and inspire his peers. The unfiltered remarks have sparked widespread debate online.
