This might have been introduced a while ago and it became more noticeable now, but the NPCs being coded to just walk around with a seemingly decent amount of purpose makes the world feel actually alive!

Just finished the main campaign. To say I am utterly disgusted by the storyline is an understatement. The Holy Light is now a problem. The greatest hero of the Alliance is retconned into more of a fanatic than the Scarlets. They/Them all over the place, and the rest is just a continuation of "girls get it done." Who did you write this drivel for? I am enjoying the game play, but you need to fire the entire writing team for this canon breaking BS. This is as bad as Starfleet Academy.

@WildSlov @pcgamer I miss those long multi-zone/multi-continent questlines you wanted to finish to hear the end of the story like the Legend of Stalvan or the hunt for the hammer to summon Gahzrilla for the Carrot on A Stick.

Like the article says, maybe the dungeon crawling is improved with the labyrinth feature but that’s about it. Everything else is still the same. If you just got into the game, highly recommend trying Classic. But don’t let the old jaded guy ruin it for you, if you like it for what it is then that’s great! For me, the new expansion doesn’t appear to hit the right notes either and I was a paladin main…
