Structured credit will be how we go from 50 to 50,000 RWAs onchain. Issuers posting first loss capital IS NECESSARY. I live and breathe structured credit, yet somehow keep getting more bullish.

Wildcat made 1.00123x fees vs Euler today

Today we're launching the first secondary market for private credit onchain. Starting with wmtUSDC, in partnership with @WildcatFi. Private credit is one of the fastest growing asset classes in traditional finance. Onchain, it's still missing the most basic piece of infrastructure, a liquid secondary market. wmtUSDC is Wintermute's private credit market on Wildcat Protocol. Lenders deposit USDC, Wintermute borrows it for market making operations and pays a fixed rate in return. Wintermute is one of the most active and trusted market makers in crypto. Deep balance sheet, long track record, institutional grade counterparty. Lenders can exit. Buyers can get fixed income exposure to a tier-one borrower. Liquidity providers earn yield on the spread. This is what secondary liquidity for private credit looks like.

Most of these RWA protocols are completely cooked. We've chatted with nearly all of them, and barely any of them seem to actually understand the yield sources they are underwriting. NOT EVEN BASIC QUESTIONS. I'm actually scared if they succeed. It could hurt real depositors.
