@blk1220 @CoachSwit 57% of UCL surgeries are done on 15-19 year olds. It does take a lot of mental toughness to overcome getting opened up, thank god for the lack of expexted games. One of my favorite things as a coach is helping kids recover from coaches like you

@CoachSwit Those tournaments and long days mean the world to the kids. Spending entire weekends on the field helps those kids develop mental toughness and physical stamina, which you can’t fully get by playing an expected set amount of games. If you can’t handle it as a coach, don’t coach

Baseball is not meant to play 3 games in a day! Tournaments should really try and stay at 2 games per day per team. Why are we having youth baseball players play so many game per day and weekend?

I’m defeated. Can’t even lie. 4-15 last 19. From 14-10 to 18-25 is just unimaginable. I’ve been trying to think of ways to spin positives, but the only thing I got is that it’s May. But that excuse only holds so much weight. Potentially looking at 9 or 11 games under .500 as soon as Sunday, is just, bad. Hope they shock everyone and find a way to win a series this weekend… #Reds

I genuinely got nothing. Even the optimistic side of me is struggling. Team has shown no signs of life in a 2-8 stretch here. Thankfully it’s May, and not September. Long way to go, but it doesn’t matter how long a season is, if shit doesn’t get better and quickly. #Reds

⚾️ Miami University Middletown’s baseball team is the youngest college baseball team in the nation and is 16-14 this season — marking the first time in 25 years the Thunderhawks will finish with a record at .500 or better. @WildcatPitching @varinabase @CoachSwit I’m not confused at all. But I’m not telling my pitchers to stop throwing when they just start getting warmed up at 50-59 pitches.

As a High School Coach I just can't justify throwing a pitcher 90-100 pitches in the beginning of the season. Our starting pitchers will throw no more than 50-59 pitches in the first couple weeks. We build up gradually, especially being in the Northeast with terrible weather! #ArmCare #WeCare
