No shade but how do you not realize that money spent on rent you will never get back whereas money spent on your mortgage you get most of it back because YOU own the house, not a landlord. If i sell my house after 10 years, the profit more than covers any interest or tax. Ive essentially been getting paid to live here rather than rent.

True. There have historically been way more travellers and higher hotel rates during Anthrocon than what we saw during the draft. Hotels didnt even sell out for this. The main difference though is the draft put the national spotlight on Pittsburgh and money was spent to try and clean the place up for the cameras. Whereas with Anthrocon we don't need to cleanup first for the furries because they are just going to stink in their sweaty ass costumes and then piss wherever as if they're real animals. The cleanup is all after.

What was his snap count? Because those numbers are actually pretty good when you ignore that it happened mostly across 3 seasons. At his ypc and TD rate that projects to... 75 catches for 1400 yards and 14 tds. Thats a Probowl season, easy. So i ask again, what was his snap %? How many targets vs catches? How many drops he have? A LOT has to happen for a WR to even get a chance. Play call, personelle selection, pass protection, QB reads, delivery and accuracy. All that is out of his control. Best he can do is know the playbook, run good routes, get open, catch everything that comes his way. When he does get the ball, he makes the most of it. Otherwise he wouldn't have so many TD on so few catches. He wouldn't have 19yds per catch. He wouldnt have 40, 60, 90 yd receptions either. But he did.

The volumes not there but there is no denying he has made the most of his opportunities. In the red zone as well, not just the long bombs. Not gonna get drafted without the body of work to show, but hes not wrong to think he at least deserves a look in the form of a minicamp invite. 32 teams with 90 man rosters. They need practice squad guys that can play, even if they may never sniff a 52man roster or see the field on game day. He may still get that call. It's early.
